Red Tulips in Watercolor

Here’s my version of the same painting my daughter finished earlier this week–a watercolor lesson featured in Fiona Peart’s book, “Tulips in Watercolor.” Watercolors on hot pressed Acquarello Artistico paper by Fabriano.

  1. Wonderful! You guys flipped this time. Your tulips bolder this time and Grets more subdued, whereas your cardinals were more muted and Grets were bolder. Interesting! Like your blending of colors.

    • Hi Pam. Thanks for visiting my blog. Greta and I are having a lot of fun learning how to use watercolors. If you’re interested, give it a try. I find it very relaxing. So good to hear from you.
